Short but sweet post for today. I am at St Luke’s again because my temp was over the limit. When we got to the ER my oxygen was in the 80’s dipping down into the 70’s at times. They gave me oxygen and by morning I was at full oxygen again without help. I wish I would feel better to do better at blogging. So here I am not just reporting on me but sharing here how very thankful I am for nurses and the heart they have for the patience that are in their care.$!
Specific prayer requests:
That they could find anything that keeps bringing me here
That I could be feeling better and back home for next week’s birthday week.
That this won’t delay chemo treatments for long.
Oh, Jody, I know you’re so sick and tired of being so sick and tired. I’m praying all of your requests, and a few of my own. We care so much. There are so many unknowns and they can be draining. May I encourage you to direct yourself to all the knows? Everything you know to be true and unchanging; camp there! Let those truths be your oxygen and your encouragement. They are as unending as God’s love for you. We’re with you in prayer. ❤️❤️
ReplyDeleteI absolutely echo Patsy’s statement . You have struggled for so long and have kept your love for God as priority, when a lot of us have fallen short for so much less in our lives. Keep hanging in there and know how many, many, people are continuing in prayer for a miracle!! Love you dear friend...💖

ReplyDeleteMeegan called me this afternoon and delivered the news. Never the news one wants to hear. Thinking about the frustration and disappointment you must feel returning to the hospital. It would be easy to focus on those things. But, are we are instructed by Paul in Philippians 4:8-9 "...whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think about such things... and the God of peace will be with you."
