He never wanted us (his family) to know he felt bad. He had always been the "provider" for us. It took time to adjust to disability. Our children are grown with children of their own. We married at 17 in 82. Last Sunday, the 25th, he passed away. Four days shy of his 52nd birthday. We were married 34 yrs. He battle is won, no more pain, no more suffering. He is at peace. I only tell you this to know I'm praying for you. Don't be afraid to let people help. The people around you are trying to deal with your cancer too and this helps them to work thru things. From your blog you are a strong independent woman/mother who wants to care of her family. Right now your family wants to take care of you...if you can let them.<br />Shelia stitchedfromtheheart@yahoo.comSheliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00274563331692354186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4270573080198224576.post-8755339723377799772016-09-30T20:56:48.139-05:002016-09-30T20:56:48.139-05:00I just want you to know that you have three wonder...I just want you to know that you have three wonderful fourteen year olds who are kind, compassionate, respectful, responsible and Jesus lovers. Do not be afraid to ask them for help. Rest when you can. It is hard when taste buds are not working. Psalm 46:10 says Be still and know that I am God. If is OK to be still, so your body can heal. And this year I've had to ask for help with the harvest of walnuts, and I have a lady from church that helps me with my garden.
